A Chosen Name, A Destined Path
On Thursday, 8 May 2025, Cardinal Robert Prevost of Chicago became the 267th Bishop of Rome a.k.a. Pope. In keeping with tradition -- but important to note not doctrine, he chose a new name: Leo XIV.
